Assessment Advantage(TM) Program

Our most common questions from parents are:

We created the Assessment Advantage Program for a simple, easy and PRECISE method for you as parents to know exactly what your child's strengths and needs are.  Why?  Because there is no such thing as being "good or bad in reading".  There are so many components to both reading and math that we assess.  We can identify those areas where your student has success and has skills!  Often times, parents are never told about their child's good qualities; they just hear that "she's about a year behind."

We think there's a better way!

After completion of the diagnostic assessment, we write a detailed, personalized summary report and hold a conference with you!  This summary report is about 5 to 6 pages, and shares scores, reading levels and areas determined as strengths and needs of your child in reading, math or BOTH.   The report also provides instructional goals and recommendations for specific strategies and activities to do with your child.  It can also be shared with the schools to refine focus on the areas of instruction your child needs.

What kind of information can I expect?

READING

As a sample of what information you can expect from a reassessment, in addition to the detailed report, we offer growth charts and information that track specific areas of improvement.  For example, click below to see a sample reassessment summary for reading.

MATH

After 10 weeks of instruction, we will reassess your math student in the same ten (10) key areas of mathematics.  We provide a detailed report, in addition to very easy to read graphs of improvement.  See below for a sample reassessment in math.
