The Reading NOW Foundation

Thanks for agreeing to share your passion for our Foundation!

At Reading NOW, we passionately believe that NO ONE should be denied an educational opportunity due to income limitations.  With this goal in mind, we created the Reading NOW Foundation to assist those families that may need some assistance in paying for our programs.  The Foundation will not pay the full cost of the proposed service, however; we use a sliding scale measurement to determine what the family can afford, and what the Foundation would be willing to contribute.

The video below was compiled in July 2011 by IDVideo Productions, with a generous grant from the Non Profit Partnership and the Erie Community Foundation in Erie.  It is an excellent 6 minute video documenting one of the families we have helped, and poignantly describes WHY we do what we do.  Words can't describe how we feel about the Lanagan family - we have been truly blessed to have them at Reading NOW!
