CAMP READ A LOT is not just for kids who need help reading!  We've planned and created a program that keeps ANY student engaged in reading over the summer, so they start the school year much more focused and motivated!  We also make it a lot of fun!! So what's the program all about?  And why is it filling up fast???  Well, let's take a look from last year! 


For our 2009 Summer Camp:

  • 92% of our students and parents rated the program as EXCELLENT!  

  • 20% of last year's students ALREADY signed up for 2010's Camp!

 Join us this summer again for literacy fun at Camp Read A Lot!  At Camp Read A Lot, students who will be entering grades K through 5 will have the chance to enhance their reading and writing skills through fun, integrated and theme-based activities.  The purpose of Camp Read A Lot is to foster in young students the love of reading and writing.  Students will be motivated to read and write this summer and learn to view themselves as readers and writers for enjoyment.

NOTE:  Groups are limited, to keep a low student / teacher ratio.
 

All camp participants will receive a Reading NOW T-shirt and a book at the end of the week! 

IMAGINE...having your child come home this summer, wanting and asking to share a favorite book with you, writing you a letter, and actually wanting to read!!!

 

Choose from 3 different weeks for full day sessions.   Activities will vary to meet the themes for the week and the interests of the students.
Cost is only $169 per week, which includes a t-shirt and a book to take home! 

HOURS:   Morning Session:                 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
                  Lunch and activity:               12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
                 Afternoon Session:               1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Before and After care is not available, but you may drop your child off at 8:45 am.  Pick up is promptly between 3:45 pm and 4:00 pm.  Pickup times after 4:15 pm may be subject to an additional cost.
